Southend fuzz-mongers, Spun are back again with their third single and title track of their upcoming debut EP; Guarantees.
Dangerously close to breaking the 3 minute mark, Guarantees is about frustration towards compliance and repetition in every day life and wanting something different.
Taking influence from bands such as The Misfits, Deftones, The Smashing Pumpkins and Jawbreaker, Spun was formed at the start of 2017 with the intention of making unashamedly distorted guitar music. Swerving more
polished, aspirational sounds, Spun endeavour to offer something raw and obnoxious.
With tracks lambasting Bus drivers to the boldly titled “Great British Peado Hunt”, the band’s debut EP delves into provincial isolation and the attitudes it inflicts.
As well as being available on streaming platforms, a limited run of copies of the EP will be available for preorder from 15 June with a free download of the single
